Trisense AS was established in 2018 in Bergen, Laksevåg, focusing on developing sensors and services for the global process industry within explosion hazardous areas. Our key strengths are sensor development, cloud-based data handling and delivery of client actionable insight through subscription services.
Utilizing the 5G/4G network combined with world leading battery management our solutions are in the forefront of the emerging Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) business.
Since the start we have been focusing on the unsolved major industrial challenge, Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) which has a great potential for our clients to achieve improved safety, significant cost reduction and a great reduction of CO2.

Our business model is offering Monitoring-as-a-Service for improved maintenance and operation. This model is welcomed by our customers as it will lead to a faster implementation of technology when offered as an OPEX based model.

Sustainability and Industry 4.0 are trending concepts today. Our Monitoring and Optimization services bring a multitude of benefits toward a more sustainable process industry. For our corrosion under insulation (CUI) application more than 60% of the stripped and inspected piping is unaffected by CUI and thereby producing an unnecessarily high volume of waste. Using the Trisense CUI sensor technology, prone CUI problem areas can be pinpointed avoiding pointless renewals and wasted material.
The energy crisis has already led to official requirements for reduced energy use in the process industry. Our wireless heat trace sensor will help the industry to achieve its sustainability goals through optimization and reduced energy costs through monitoring of the entire heat trace system.

We are the first mover into cellular connectivity for Ex Areas
Our wireless sensors use NB-IoT and LTE-M in the 4G and 5G network. This results in major savings for customers as there is no need for a separate infrastructure in the process area. Our technology strongly supports Monitoring and Optimization for the process industry.
And we are not stopping there
Our goal moving forward is to further develop Monitoring-as-a-Service solution and new smart sensors for the process industry. In addition we will be developing our technology and partnerships, and look at allowing third party sensors to connect to the CirruSense ecosystem to enable a one-stop solution for monitoring your plant.
